Well, this movie teaches us that love is not for quitters!

Drew Barrymore who plays Lucy meets with an accident and she has short term memory loss.

So Henry makes a video for her every morning (that also features their wedding) -“ Good Morning Lucy” which acts as a reminder for her daily activities. This way Lucy recalls her relationship for the day only to go blank the next morning.


3. P. S. I Love You

This slice of life film shows love is all about trying to keep your partner happy at any cost.

When Gerry dies of brain tumour, Holly is left shattered and distances herself from the world. But to Holly’s surprise, on her 30th birthday she receives a cake and a message from Gerry. Gerry wanted these letters to be reached to Holly after his death and each letter takes Holly to a new experience.

Even after his death he was guiding her like a mentor and pushing her toward a new life through these letters. He was in fact teaching her how to live without him.

Holly revisits Gerry’s homeland in Ireland and meets his childhood friend William with whom she connects deeply. Although these two remain as friends, Holly is filled with hope that love will find its way to her.

4. Notting Hill

This iconic movie of Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts ticks all the boxes of a classic romcom.

The story is told in flashback where Allie has dementia and Noah keeps reminding her of their love story. The last scene of the movie will definitely leave you in tears as the two die holding each other’s hands in their sleep…only to meet in the other dimension
