And who can forget the romantic proposal of Landon to Jamie under the stars when he arranges a telescope for her to have the lifetime experience of seeing a comet.
Although Jamie died, Landon could always feel their love forever.
2) 50 First Dates
How far can you go for your love when your beloved fails to recognize you every single morning?
Well, this movie teaches us that love is not for quitters!
Drew Barrymore who plays Lucy meets with an accident and she has short term memory loss.
“Being with you is the only way I could have a full and happy life. You’re the girl of my dreams… and apparently, I’m the man of yours.”
Henry plays her love interest in the film, but she keeps forgetting who Henry is every morning.
So Henry makes a video for her every morning (that also features their wedding) -“ Good Morning Lucy” which acts as a reminder for her daily activities. This way Lucy recalls her relationship for the day only to go blank the next morning.
3. P. S. I Love You
This slice of life film shows love is all about trying to keep your partner happy at any cost.
When Gerry dies of brain tumour, Holly is left shattered and distances herself from the world. But to Holly’s surprise, on her 30th birthday she receives a cake and a message from Gerry. Gerry wanted these letters to be reached to Holly after his death and each letter takes Holly to a new experience.
Even after his death he was guiding her like a mentor and pushing her toward a new life through these letters. He was in fact teaching her how to live without him.
Holly revisits Gerry’s homeland in Ireland and meets his childhood friend William with whom she connects deeply. Although these two remain as friends, Holly is filled with hope that love will find its way to her.
Not to forget that each letter ends with P.S. I Love You.
4. Notting Hill
This iconic movie of Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts ticks all the boxes of a classic romcom.
Will has no clue what a big Hollywood star Anna Scott is when she enters his little bookshop. She kisses Will on their second meeting but Will is left disturbed when he finds out about her American boyfriend.
But true love is hard to let go. The two again meet and spend quality time together. When Anna decides to take a break for a year, Will realising his mistake chases her and confesses his love to her in a press conference pretending to be a reporter.
They revive their first date spent in a park at the end of the movie where Anna is pregnant and the two live happily ever after.
5) The Notebook

This is the story of Allie and Noah who were madly in love but they were estranged to their social differences. But Noah played by the ever so handsome Ryan Gosling never loses hope as he keeps writing letters to Allie every single day.
“The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. And that’s what you’ve given me. That’s what I’d hoped to give you forever.”
But Allie’s mother never allowed those 365 letters of Noah to reach her. But true love found its way as the two met once again and this time for ever. The story is told in flashback where Allie has dementia and Noah keeps reminding her of their love story. The last scene of the movie will definitely leave you in tears as the two die holding each other’s hands in their sleep…only to meet in the other dimension
